We fought hard to finally stop America’s longest war with our End the Forever War Campaign in 2020 and we refuse to let Trump or any president drag us into new Forever Wars. As veterans, we have watched in horror as this administration has made war crimes part of its defensive posture. This cannot continue, and Congress must not enable it. The political system needs a clear line: Any Democrat who votes to fund Trump’s illegal and unjust war should not expect the support of the veteran community, the progressive movement, or the donor networks that power Democratic campaigns.
