JERMAINE COLLINS (He/HIM)

Jermaine Collins is the DC Lead Organizer for Common Defense. Jermaine is an Army Veteran who spent nearly a decade in the Ohio Army National Guard, including a 12-month deployment to Afghanistan. Originally from Youngstown, Jermaine began his career working for a local candidate in Ohio’s 34th House District. He relocated to Washington, DC, in 2018 to work on state healthcare policy.


Jermaine is passionate about advocating for policies that uplift the BIPOC community, the Veteran’s community, the working class, and those affected by climate change. In his free time, Jermaine enjoys exercising, training Muay Thai, writing, and playing video games with friends.
