Veterans Endorse Dynamic Slate of Candidates Committed to People Over Politics

WASHINGTON, DC – Common Defense, the nation’s largest grassroots organization of progressive veterans, representing nearly 400,000 members, proudly endorses a dynamic and diverse slate of pro-Roe and pro-equality candidates. These leaders are committed to ensuring Congress returns to prioritizing people over politics and safeguarding our democracy, in contrast to the chaos of the MAGA House majority:

Amish Shah (AZ-01)

Will Rollins (CA-41)

Rebecca Cooke (WI-03)

Monica Tranel (MT-01)

Ashley Ehasz (PA-01)

Janelle Stelson (PA-10)

Michelle Vallejo (TX-15)

Each of these candidates are unwavering champions of democratic values and embody the leadership needed to combat the dangerous extremism of the MAGA movement. They are dedicated advocates for veterans and military families who have taken an oath to protect our democracy, and for the countless working families across the country.

Common Defense is dedicated to mobilizing veterans and military families nationwide to support these exceptional candidates through grassroots organizing, voter engagement, and advocacy efforts. Together, we will build a more just and equitable society for all.

###

Common Defense is a grassroots, veteran-led organization that was founded in 2016. We empower veterans to stand up for our communities against the rising tide of racism, hate, and violence, to organize against the entrenched powers that have rigged our economy, and to champion an equitable and representative democracy, where “liberty and justice” truly is for all. For too long, politicians from both political parties have attempted to use veterans as unwilling political props, and Common Defense serves as a home for veterans to organize and speak for themselves and support the candidates who truly share our values.
