Common Defense Endorses Jon Ossoff for Re-Election to U.S. Senate in Georgia

Washington, D.C. — Today, Common Defense, a grassroots organization of veterans and military families, announced its endorsement of Jon Ossoff, U.S. Senator in Georgia, for re-election to the U.S. Senate.

Naveed Shah, U.S. Army veteran and Political Director at Common Defense, released the following statement:

“Common Defense is proud to endorse Jon Ossoff for re-election to the U.S. Senate in Georgia. During his time in office, Senator Ossoff has consistently and relentlessly fought to deliver for Georgia’s veterans, active service members, and military families. From protecting veterans from foreclosure and expanding access to VA care to clearing a backlog of more than 400,000 veterans’ records requests to help them access records needed to claim benefits, Senator Ossoff understands that honoring those who served means ensuring they can access the benefits and support they were promised. That commitment is exactly why Common Defense is proud to endorse him for re-election this November.”
